Sub-Division
There is only one Sub-Division and that is Amlarem Sub-division. It was established on 12th November 1976. The area of the Sub-division is 404.53 sq. kms approx. There are 92 Villages within the Sub – division. The population as per 2011 census is 43,844. The literacy rate up to date is 66.1%.
C&RD Blocks
There are three C&RD blocks in West Jaintia Hills:-
