    The Bakijai Branch deals with the recovery of dues of public demands of loans advanced by banks and other financial institutions to persons under the schemes framed and or approved by the Government and works under the ambit of the Bengal Public Demands Recovery Act, 1913.

      The Bakijai Officer/ Certificate Officer assisted by the Dealing Assistant institutes cases filed by the Banks/ financial institution against defaulters, issues notice to defaulters for making payment of their loan and disposes of cases on repayment of loan/ dues by the defaulters.
